St Francis Xavier Primary School draws inspiration from Ignatian spirituality, which is based on the spirituality of Iñigo Lopez de Loyola, later known as Saint Ignatius of Loyola. Ignatian spirituality offers us a way to deepen our desire and commitment to help others, especially those in more urgent need and in less hope of help.
The key values of Ignatian Spirituality are
Competence, Conscience, Compassion, Commitment.
The 4Cs form the basis of the SFX school values.
To attain excellence in all we do and at our own level
To think of others as well as ourselves in the school and the world; to try to right the imbalances at school and the world through our words and actions.
To open our hearts to the suffering and differences of others in our community and in the world.
To strive to do our best for ourselves, for others and for the environment.
